Wine is a free opensource software which allows you to install Microsoft Windows based applications on Linux or MAC operating systems.
Goal of this tutorial is to install wine using yum on CentOs 6.4, first we have to install third party Repositories (Epel & Remi ) in order to complete this task follow this previous HowTo ‘ Installing EPEL & Remi Repo on CentOs ‘ and use the below command.
Step-1 Install wine using yum
`yum install wine -y
Initial Configuration command
winecfg
Test wine installation
wine notepad
That’s it ..!!
